Forms in our website
Our website has two forms that collect personal information: a contact form and a newsletter subscription form. The sections below provide information about what information we collect in each form, how the information is processed, and how long it is stored.
Contact form
Our website has a contact form that you can use to get in touch with us. When you choose to contact us through our contact form, your email address is required, to enable us to send you an answer. You can also choose to write your name and phone number, if you consider that information relevant to us.
We will only use the information you send us to establish contact and communicate with you.
The content of the form is sent to us by email, through the American company Sendgrid. Sendgrid does not store the content of the email after your inquiry has been sent, but your email address will be logged for 30 days. The purpose of logging your email address is to be able to find and correct errors in the email delivery system.
When we receive your inquiry by email, the message and subsequent dialogue will be stored in our email archive until we carry out routine deletion of archived emails, or until you ask us to delete information we have stored about you.
If your inquiry concerns information about, or registration for, courses or events, and we have not set up any relevant courses/events, we may ask for your consent to store your contact information in a database so that we can contact you when we set up relevant courses/events.
Newsletter sign-up form
Anyone who wishes to receive newsletters from us can sign up by using the sign-up form at the bottom of our website.
To sign up, you must enter your email address in the form so that we can send you newsletters. You can also choose to enter your first and last name, and this makes it easier for us to find you in the recipient list if you contact us to make changes to your membership, or to have your membership deleted.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter recipient list at any time, by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you received when signing up or in a newsletter we have sent you.
We use the third-party provider Make AS to send newsletters. Registered email addresses and names are stored on Make's servers in Norway. The information is only used in connection with sending newsletters, and is not shared with others. The information is stored and processed until you choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter, or until we choose to discontinue our newsletter service.
Visitor statistics with Matomo
The website uses Matomo to collect anonymized data about visits to the website. Matomo is a privacy-friendly tool for collecting visitor statistics on websites, and does not collect any personal data.
The purpose of collecting data about visits and creating statistics is to improve the websites. We do this by analyzing which parts of the website are visited most often, and which digital "paths" visitors choose to find information on our website. The statistics are general, and we never try to identify individuals.
Matomo anonymizes the IP address of visitors by removing the last two numbers in the IP address. This means that the IP address can only be used to calculate approximately where the visitor is located, and not to identify people. All collected data is stored in Norway, and is owned by us. Our website provider has access to the statistics for technical reasons, but beyond that the statistics are not shared with other third parties.
Matomo records various information each time a page is opened on the website, and stores, among other things:
- date and time, time in the visitor's time zone
- title and address of the page opened
- web addresses that lead visitors to the website
- which addresses visitors click on within our website, and which files visitors download from our website
- approximately where in the world the visitor is located (country, region and city)
- information about the browser name and version, the browser's main language and the computer's screen resolution
Data is stored about all visits, without the use of cookies, and this gives us approximate statistics.
If you consent to our use of cookies the "statistics" category in the cookie settings, Matomo will use cookies to make the statistics more precise. (See more information under the heading "Matomo (statistics)" below.)
Opt-out from tracking with Matomo
You can opt out of being tracked by Matomo on our website by unchecking the box below.
You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
